Pastor Walters is an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church of the First Episcopal District where
the RT. Rev. Dr. Gregory G.M. Ingram is Bishop. Rev. Walters is the Pastor of the Greater Mount Olive AME Church located 439 North 50th Street in Philadelphia., Pa. The Lord has blessed Pastor Walters as founder and director of Agape' Fellowship women's ministry. She is the secretary for the AME Preachers meeting of Philadelphia, Harrisburg and vicinity. She is the assistant Chaplain for the Black clergy of Philadelphia. Her involvements also include, Prison Ministry and Ministry for abused Women and Children.
Pastor Walters is enthusiastic about her ministry and her education. She is a graduate of Cheyney University with a BA Degree in Social Relations. She received her Masters of Divinity Degree from Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg Pa. on May 9th 2010. She feels that education is the key to enhancing the ministries that God has placed on her life and with this knowledge she will be prepared to teach and preach God's Word in a professional and efficient manner. Pastor Walters is the seventh of ten children born to the late Fred and Marie Hall. She is the proud mother of one son, Shelton C. Walters Jr., a wonderful daughter in law Josie A. Walters. She has two beautiful grandchildren, Ryan and Mckenzie Walters.
Pastor Walters is saved, called, compelled and committed to preach, teach and sing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is a member of the AME Mass Choir, and the Savette Choral Group of Phila.,  both of which she is one of the lead soloist.
Her voice with its range and power is more inspirational then a musical instrument. But even more powerful than her voice, is the preacher herself. She is an emotionally charged magnum force.
Pastor Walters has been awarded honors as: Darby/Phila. NAACP Role Model of the year for Women in Ministry. The Evelyn Graves Ministries Festival of the Arts award for making significant contributions to our youth through the arts.  A certificate for Superior Performance in African American Literature from Cheyney University of Pa.; and a Certificate of Excellence in Christian Education for the First Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
But her greatest AWARD, and the only one that matters to her is; God awarded
Pastor Walters an Heir and Joint Heir with His Son, Jesus Christ. Her favorite song is "To God Be The Glory For The Things He Has Done"
Her favorite Scripture in 2nd Corinthians  5:7 " We Walk By Faith, Not By Sight"
