Pastor Tiffany Lett Martin
Reverend Tiffany Lett Martin is the wife of Bryant H. Martin, Sr. She has two children Bryant Jr. (age 16) and Nera Joyce (age 10). They live in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. Reverend Martin is the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Charles H. Lett, Sr. the Presiding Elder of the West Philadelphia District and the daughter-in-law of the Reverends Clarence and Eva Joyce Martin of Waters Memorial A.M.E. Church.
Reverend Martin grew up in the A.M.E. Church and was very active as a young person. She served the church in many capacities as YPD president, usher, and choir member. The Lord called her to preach at the age of 30 while she was at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Norristown. This was the same church and the same age that her father was called into the ministry. Reverend Kanice D. Johns is her mother in ministry. At Mt. Zion she served as part of the ministerial staff, she was in charge of the weekly Children’s Moment during the regular service, director of Children’s Church, Teen Church School teacher, Assistant Church School superintendant, Teen Bible Study instructor and leader of the Tuesday night intercessory prayer team also known as the “Circle of Faith.” Through this beloved ministry she had the opportunity to watch the Lord move in amazing ways.
Reverend Martin graduated from West Chester University in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and minor in Early Childhood Education. She later went back to West Chester University to earn her Master’s degree in Reading and is a certified Reading Specialist. She is currently in her nineteenth year teaching in the Colonial School District serving residents of Plymouth Meeting, Whitemarsh, Lafayette Hill, and Conshohocken. She is currently teaching the third grade.
In May 2012 she received her Master’s of Divinity degree from Payne Theological University of Wilberforce, Ohio. She was ordained an itinerate elder in the A.M.E. church in 2012. It was at that annual conference that Bishop Richard F. Norris gave her the appointment of Bethel AME Church in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Since she has been there God has showered them with blessings. God has paid off the churches debt, He is causing the congregation to grow, the church school and regular Bible Study have been restarted, choir reformed, and new praise dance ministry birthed. God is not through with her yet. One of her favorite scriptures is Psalms 27:4 “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.”
The most important thing that you should know about Rev. Martin is that she is a born again, Holy Ghost filled, child of the Most High King; willing to serve the Lord in any capacity that He sees fit.
